| 為維護服務品質，MaiCoin 預計於台灣時間10月18日下午1時起（10/18 13:00 CST）暫時停止以太幣的傳輸功能，並於完成系統升級後再度開放。屆時以太幣的發送與接收將恢復運作，我們將於服務恢復後再次以電子郵件通知您。造成不便，懇請見諒。 |

| 特別題醒以太幣持有者，硬分叉是區塊鏈上一種不向後相容的系統升級，若您有同時使用其它國外交易所的服務，務須注意或詢問其是否預計執行本次的硬分叉更新。升級完成後，您於 MaiCoin 所持有的以太幣將僅允許於同樣完成升級的交易所進行交易，請您務必再次留意。 |

| Recently the Ethereum network has gone through a series of hot-fixes and quick patches, while delay in transactions are still being reported every now and then by users around the globe. To solve the issue once and for all, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) and the community has reached a consensus on executing a hard fork to the network's underlying protocol. |
| To maintain our service quality, MaiCoin will be adapting the hard fork and be temporarily disabling Ether's deposit and withdrawal during the process, starting today 1:00 p.m. (10/18 13:00 CST). We will be sending out another email after the upgrade has been properly carried out. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this brings. |
| All Bitcoin-related features are not effected by this upgrade and will work the way they've always been. |
| One special note for Ether holders: hard fork is a type of upgrade that breaks backward compatibility. Meaning, after the operation, your Ether holding at MaiCoin will only be able to transact with other exchanges who have also completed the upgrade. We kindly ask you to be aware of this matter should you use other exchange services other than MaiCoin. |
